Hot yoga is a series of yoga poses performed in a heated room (between 95 and 105 degree). Every move is held for 1 minute....and that 1 minute feels like forever with some poses! You start to feel the burn within 30 seconds.
Hot yoga will purify the body of toxins, improve flexibility and range of motion, enhance the immune system, and promote weight loss.
I'm excited about the hot summers here in Arkansas because I'll be able to perform these exercises in my garage without having to use the electric heater!!
It's a very challenging workout.
Here are a few of my favorites. You can find all poses and wonderful videos and helpful techniques on how to breath on The Hot Yoga Doctor website.

Holy cow Betty! That sounds intense! To hold it for a whole minute in a hot Arkansas summer's garage! You are a tough cookie. Mike and I did yoga for a whole year together and it really is tough to get into some of those poses!
You and Jenny and are agonna be HAWT!
Well we do have the heat here........but some of those poses are just plain unimaginable for me!! :)
But good for you and I hope you have fun!
That looks amazing. I'm gonna try it with the husband. That way he can catch me if I fall over!
wow, let us know how it works for you!
We have that Bikram yoga here too. I haven't gone, but I know a few who have.
I love yoga. But don't go like I should.
Glad you are liking it.
Do the men where those diaper looking things there. They do at this one.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll stick with Boot Camp and Muscle Max...
Girl, you'll be in that bikini in no time once the July heat hits!
Good luck to you! I hope you reach your goal:-)
I just got done doing yoga! Although it wasn't hot yoga...bummer.
I never heard of this! Good for you though! It looks impressive!
I haven't done yoga in a while.
I always feel peaceful and wonderful after though.
You've inspired me.
To go to bed...
...and wake up in the morning to do some yoga poses.
I suck at the one legged ones. I'm a klutz.
I do love a good warrior pose though. Makes me feel strong and centered.
That's it. I'm totally doing yoga tomorrow.
Wow, that sounds...uhm, sweaty! It's definitely hot enough here to give it a try, but I don't know if I'd be able to handle it, our garage is beyond sauna hot. It's suffocating. Let us know what kind of results you get. I'm feeling the perspiration just thinking about it.
I used to do this when I lived in Phoenix. LOVED it.
You go girl!!!
I'm sweating just reading about this!! I have seen a few new yoga spots in town and have been curious. Maybe I should take a couple classes and see how I like it! Especially if I can have a smokin' hot body too!! LOL
