So I had planned yesterday to post my potato soup recipe but I didn't have time. Because it was GIRLS NIGHT OUT!!!! That trumps posting recipe....'cause I so needed girl time! I was mad at myself because I left my camera in my other bag. So no pictures. Dadgumit! Oh well, next time. So Dala, Robbie & I went to Chili's for dinner and some margaritas!! The only place that serves alcohol within a 30 mile radius. We enjoyed the conversation, laughter, talking about our husbands....no, no I'm just kidding...we don't ever talk about them.
We went to see the movie "The Women"
it was great! There were some pretty funny moments. Debra Messing was hilarious! Dala said, "Have you noticed all the women actresses we have grown up with are now looking old?" Well duh Dala we are getting and looking old as well!!! *sobbing* And what was up with the theater last night? It was Friday night and there were only 5 of us in the entire theater. All women of course. CRAZY!!! Guess the whole town went to the home football game. And Robbie if you are reading this....it's your turn to drive next time and we would like to ride in style....so that means we want you to pick us up in the convertible Jag!!! I just love the way a good girls night out refreshes me!!!

Yep, Becky and I are planning our next "GNO", which will have to be a Girls Day Out, while the kiddos are in school.
Thank God for girlfriends!
Glad you had so much fun. I love me some Chili's. Their southwestern eggrolls are my fave.
Yeah, I can't imagine starting a new position, but it's something that intrigues me and something I want to do!
I love Girls Nights outs..they can be fun and refreshing! I use to play Bunco and that was the ultimate in Girls Nights Out..we had so much fun and then would go see a late movie after playing!
Have a great weekend!

I haven't done a girls thing in forever. I used to do a girls week or weekend once a year (with friends from the net), we would fly to different states for it. But then I had a dumb falling out with my friends that was my fault and now I'm not invited :(
Hmmmmmmmmmm, I'm curious about your potato soup recipe. I like mine just like my mom made, butter, salt, pepper, celery, onions and milk. Plain but good, but I hate when people make it without celery or onions. lol
Sounds like such a fun night! I have been interested in that movie too...maybe I will have to get some girlfriends together to go see it! :) Glad you had such a good time!

**boo hoo**
There was a girls night out over here too and I had to miss it! Loved reading about yours though. So fun! I'm glad to hear you liked the movie. It's on my list of one's to see. If hubby loves me enough....
Yeah, don't think that will happen!
