Today is my mothers birthday.
She looks absolutely amazing for having 9 children, 30 something grand-children and 9 great- grand-children!!!
We celebrated yesterday. John & I cooked dinner for her at her house. We made Honey Teriyaki Chicken, Maple & Cardamom sweet potatoes, asparagus, black eye peas, cucumber & tomato salad, and a plum red leaf salad.
For the birthday cake I made a healthy low fat pineapple upside down cake. I asked Flynn if the cake was good...he said, No, it's amazing! Who knew a 7 year old would like a healthy cake.
The entire cake was gone in 2 hours...Flynn and his daddy finished it off.
She is an amazing mother, grandmother and great grandma!!!
