RELAXATION GIVEAWAY

I can't even begin to tell you all how good it feels to have the yearbook complete! I actually had a Saturday just for "me". I didn't have that nagging little voice in my head constantly thinking about what I need to do in the yearbook...what photo goes there....what should I write here....did I spell that child's name right?!

*took a deep breath* **smiled** it's over. YAY!!!

So I said I was going to do a giveaway when it was complete. When I was thinking of what to do I immediately thought of something that relaxes or de-stresses me after a long hard day.

Well, first thing that came to mind was BC Powder! I love this stuff!! It gets rid of my worse headaches in 15 minutes!!
Second was my hook and some yarn. Crocheting relaxes me so much! So I sat down and made a coaster for your coffee or tea cup out of cotton yarn that I dyed with kool-aid. It would be perfect sitting next to your computer while you blog! (cup not included)

I then thought about how much I love drinking Spiced Chai Tea. It's like comfort food in a cup. Really yummy if you use 1/2 cup almond milk in it! Mmmm...I think I'm gonna go make me a cup.
I then thought how I like to light some vanilla candles.....
and soak in the tub. My favorite body wash to use when I've had a long day is Bath & Body Works SLEEP lavender chamomile...it's part of the aromatherapy line. I am also addicted to the room spray. It just soothes and calms.

So there you go.....My Relaxation Giveaway.

To enter to win all you have to do is....Leave me a comment telling me how you relax or de-stress!!
Thanks to all of you for the words of encouragement during those stressful days!! You are all wonderful!! I'll pick a winner Sunday evening using random.org I'll post the winner on Monday. Good luck!

I like to relax or de-stress by going to the gym, putting on some hardcore music in the ole ipod and banging out about an hours worth of weightlifting....when I'm done I feel like a whole new person, seriously! I hope I win!

Yours truly, John(keeper of the skies)

I used to work out to destress and drive to relax. Now driving is to expensive and I am slacking on the working out. Now I plop my kid in the tub with tons of toys and read my daily bible reading. My child gets clean with out even knowing it and I have time to decompress with the best! I like some of your ideas for relaxing. I should take note!

Sounds great! Lots of goodies!
I relax with a hammock and a good book. It´s almost always warm enough to be outside here, so our hammock is always in good use...

I love all of these things! I could really use them right now!

When I am stressed I go to the gym.

When I want to relax I lay on the couch in the living that noone else goes to and read a great book.

You are awesome for giving all of this away!

OMG! While I was writing this Michelle wrote hers and I thought I was going to die laughing.

That is why we love Michelle right?

Never tried the tea. Love candles, and that lavender spray is incredible. I used it when I was having Gabe, spraying the bed and the curtains and the pillows in the hospital. My nurses thought I was crazy, but it helped. He was born two hours later with no drugs to help. Oh, yeah!

To relax: I love to read. And drink some Mike's Hard Lemonade with a bit of homemade popcorn in a bowl, and my little dog cuddled up next to me. Good times.

Thanks for your sweet comments today. I needed them.

Hey, is John allowed to win?

Relax??

Okay, I guess I do relax sometimes. I like to go thrift store shopping with my dd, dh, or a good friend.

When I really have had it and am ready to put in my 2 weeks notice to my husband and children, I ask my wonderful dd to babysit and dh & I take an entire day and do whatever we want.

I love, love, love the vanilla candles!

Relax? Huh? What's that? What is this unwinding you speak of?

The only thing I can think--and these days I am not exaggerating-- I sleep. Thats the only R&R I get haha!

I am SO glad you finished the yearbook I KNOW how hard they are and I know it has got to be the biggest relief!

PS I love Chai Tea and that looks SO good! And what is almond milk and where do I find it?

Love a hot bath like you with a good book and an ice water. But your stuff looks even better!

Oh I so want to try that powder. I am having awful headaches all the time now :( I was going to spend more time on the putor tonight reading blogs but my head is not in the mood for it.

How do I relax? I love staring at my fish tank. I've just started it up again and I love marine fish. I can watch my tank for an hour straight and be fascinated.

Congrats on finishing the year book!

Oh, great stuff, my friend! I, especially, LOVE anything from Bath and Body Works! Glad you got in some R & R yesterday!

Hmmm....how do I relax? Well, I like to go for a walk at our local park. There's always lots of nature to take in and enjoy! Plus, I can loose myself in a nice hot bath...PURE HEAVEN! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Relax? Really? Ummm....I don't have anything I do right now to relax. If I do relax, it is sitting in front of the TV--but even then, not so relaxing. Hmmm....I USED to take baths--a nice long soak always relaxed me and got rid of any stress caused from school/work/family or friends...

What a great idea for a giveaway!

What a great giveaway!

Wow, I like to read....just get away from reality and read about someone else's world...real or not. That is what destresses me.

What the?!?!?

I know I entered last night! Oh where, Oh where did my little comment go?

SO! This is a super FAB giveaway! Perfect for the nights when I just want to getaway to my bedroom retreat, door locked, cup of hot tea, stack of new magazines and an hour alone! That's my cure.

Yesterday? I just had to destress...hubby about pushed me over the edge. LOL My solution? Retail therapy and a nice, new, $$$ handbag!

I relax laying on the couch watching T.V.

Cool giveaway!

Ummm...I used to take baths to relax, but I don't have a tub in this apartment. I've often thought about moving just because of that.

So, I like to read or watch a good make you cry movie.

I'm so glad you were able to relax!!

Looks like a great giveaway. You just reminded me I need to go finish a page on our yearbook. I'm waiting on someone to download pictures from an event.
I relax by taking a walk or staring mindlessly at the tv screen. Horrible isn't it.

Wonderful giveaway- well minus the chai- I always feel like I am stuffing flowers up my nose with the smell but the mini diva loves it. ;-)
Music- dancing- jumping- being a total dork de-stresses us.
Playing with the dogs or Ian (especially blowing bubbles for them).
And lately, Yoga on the Wii fit! I cannot do regular yoga but I love it on the Wii. Go figure.

So glad you got the yearbook finished and a chance to relax.
