It was that time again, time for our all day date that we like to call,
"Double Movie Dinner Date".
We went and saw, "Remember Me" first. Rob Pattinson, in our opinion, was wonderful in this movie. I know it got some bad reviews, but we really liked it. I never listen to the critics anyway, I usually like what they hate. John & I both were moved to tears.
After this movie, we went shopping at Whole Foods, then ate at our favorite Cajun restaurant, Copelands. It was de-lish as usual.
The second movie was "Shutter Island". This movie was twisted, freaky, & a bit too long for me. It was well-written, but still left me wondering about some things.
Our date was coming to an end....but we decided to make one more stop before we went home. We went back to Copelands and ordered a Bananas Foster Napoleon Cheesecake to go. We pigged out on it when we got home. Yummilicious!!

Sounds like a great date!
I haven't seen either movie, but my MIL said Shutter Island was disturbing. I'm planning on seeing Diary of a Wimpy Kid with the kids this week, which looks hilarious!
I love the pictures! You guys look like you have so much fun together...I love it!
you are always sharing about these yummy restaurants ... drooling over here in hungary...yum yum
Zach is going to go see Shutter Island... I was wondering if I wanted to go, but maybe not after your review.
What a great date!
I haven't seen either movie but was interested in seeing Shutter Island. But I need to be in the mood to see a weird, twisted movie.
I just saw Alice in Wonderland and thought it was amazing. It is a great girl-power flick!
My daughter saw "Shutter Island" and she said it was very STRANGE. You and your hubby make the cutest couple EVER! So in love with each other!♥
Sounds like fun! We haven't been out to a movie in forever--but catch them here on pay-per-view.
I do love me some Cherry Coke and Junior Mints though...(my favorite and only have them at the movies...)
Sounds like a perfect date!!
Mmmm. Cheesecake. Not that I'm looking forward to the kids growing up too fast, but a regular date night with the husband would be pretty cool. You guys have so much fun together. I love it.
You know... I didn't know about 'Remember Me' from the preview commercials but when I saw a longer preview for it on my New Mood dvd. I think it looks pretty good. I think we'll check it out... when it comes out on dvd anyway. No movie theaters for us for a little while. Haha!
I'm just now getting back to blogging... regularly.... I hope. Good to catch up!
That sounds like an absolutely fantastic day!
Just bringing it to your attention that a month has gone by since your last post.
We miss you, Betty. Come back to us! Don't follow in my darn sister's footsteps and leave bloggy world forever, please!
Love, Heather :)
