5 Young Women

My house was full of laughter from
young girls again this weekend.
Or should I say young women.
Tori & her 4 closest friends from high school
all
got together for dinner at Olive Garden
and
then they came to my house
like
old times!

Everyone was back in town from college for the summer or just came back to visit friends and family.

They are also celebrating the bride to be, Natalie (on right).

They acted goofy for photos when I told them
I needed pictures so I could blog about it.

Tori, Natalie, Shannon, Jessica & Lyndsay!

Today was Natalie's Bridal Shower. It was beautifully decorated and the cupcakes were to die for...the frosting was delicious. Natalie looked beautiful!! I was so emotional watching her walk around and open gifts, etc. How am I gonna feel when it's one of my daughter's getting married?

Maid of Honor and the Bride to Be

It's hard to imagine sometimes that these
girls are all grown up!
I wonder who is going to be next to marry out of this group?!
I bet it's Tori....but not for another 3 years at least!

Time really does fly by!
This has been a wonderful weekend!!

I bet you were just loving them being there at your house. They are all beautiful and it's great that they are staying close. How exciting for the first wedding of the bunch.

It's amazing how fast they grow. I was my sister's date to her class reunion and I was amazed that these people who still seemed like teenagers were married with kids.

What a fun set of girls...WOMEN! Didn't it do your heart good to hear all the giggling and laughter going on? Definitely looks like very strong friendships have been formed.

I love that you were the hostess of such a fun event. I'm sure you are the mom that everyone loves...pretty, hilarious, a great cook, sweet.

(Are you blushing yet?)

How odd it must be to see them all so grown up. I can't even fathom the day.

They look so carefree. I love it. I can't imagine my kids being that grown up, but then again I never imagined myself with a teenager either yet my oldest is indeed that, in all her eye-rolling glory. lol. Congrats to the bride to be. ;)

Awe, this looked like so much fun! I miss those days so much, when all the girls would be over and just giggling away.
I´m happy for you, that you got to experience that again.
The girls look great!

What a fun weekend;) I know that it is creeping up on me, with Tatum turning 16 this year and learning to drive, and taking college prep courses, and I just start to feel the slip...

How wonderful to get to share in it with them, and to be so close.
