Dad

This Father's Day John requested that I make, "Spaghetti & Turkey Meatballs...a Salad...and homemade French Bread."

Tori made her daddy his favorite, Oatmeal and Raisin cookies....some had chocolate and walnuts in them. SO GOOD!!!

John, Meg & Tori all had to work that day and were off by 3:30.

So I had the day (after church) to prepare everything.

John came home and relaxed on the couch for awhile....the girls came home shortly after him.

Meg bought him a souvenir glass that says, Flying Saucer, 2009 Father's Day on one side and DAD on the other. It's double insulated....really nice! (fyi...she waitresses at the Flying Saucer)
Tori & Meg both chipped him and gave him $$$ for a new pair of tennis shoes he has been wanting. They put the money in Tori's shoebox that her work shoes came in.
Daddy hugged his girls and got all emotional on us....he is not afraid to show his emotions! I love that about this man!!! He told his girls how proud he was of them and he couldn't have asked for better daughter's!!

They love their Daddy.

I'm lucky to have such a wonderful husband, who is an awesome father, who helped me raise two wonderful daughter's, who LOVE their Daddy, to the moon and back!

Having your girls nearby is such a blessing. I´m feeling a bit melancholy these days. Even though Michelle was home for Fathers day, I miss Marisa very much lately and seeing your two girls with their dad, makes it so bittersweet...
But we did receive a phone call from her and she told us she has bought a ticket to come visit for Christmas! So, yeaaahhhh!!! :)

Aw, glad you were all able to spend such a lovely day together. The fact that your family spends so much time sharing meals is just wonderful evidence of how much you enjoy each other's company. Beautiful. Happy Dad's Day to your hubby. :)

That is so great that your girls are so close with their dad! Mike and his daughters are going to be the same way I think. Tatum and him have such a funny banter going on, and with Summer being born in his43rd year, it really brings it home to him how precious his children are. What a great Father's Day you guys had:)
