Fat Quarters

We finally got to have a family date!! It has been awhile. John & I drove up to Conway and ate lunch with Meg & Tori at the Whole Hog Cafe.

The girls were making fun of me because I was talking about going to the fabric store to buy some "fat quarters"....they laughed every time I said it. Apparently, it sounded like I was going to buy some pot. As in marijuana!! We were laughing pretty hard about this....we are loud talkers so I can only imagine what people think of us!!

John & I couldn't stop laughing when we were talking about the movie The Hangover. It was hilarious!! Tori has seen it but Meg hasn't....but she wants to now!

When we got back to their home Daddy of course had to do the "Daddy-do-list". He connected the converter box to their TV so they can get a clear channel since it all changes to digital today! They have a clearer picture now than they did before.

They both took Thursday off work so we can continue having our family dates. Next week we are having a Bar-B-Que at our home!

Fun times!
I have to buy some fat quarters for Paige and Leah. They are both taking a sewing class.
I've never bought fat quarters either.

I hope that my children and I can be close like you all are when they have all left the nest.

I love the last picture of you and John with the girls! I hope that my girls will always want to sit right next to me and their daddy on the couch, even when they are grown-up college students! I don't comment often, but I love your blog and read every post. My two girls and one boy are such a blessing and reading what you say about your girls in this stage of life is really encouraging.

I am addicted to buying fat quarters. I love fabric and every time I see a fat quarter that I love it makes me think of something else to make. Course I need to finish buying fat quarters for my sons puzzle quilt if I ever get it done. Lol.
