Recycle Coffee Grinds

For years I have used coffee grinds in the shower....yes, in the shower. The caffeinated kind!!

Did you know that coffee grinds help prevent/reduce cellulite?!!!

Coffee grinds are rich with minerals and vitamins, containing nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and a slightly acidic pH level between 3.0 and 5.0.

Why waste money on all those expensive cellulite products when you have the perfect solution sitting in your kitchen. Or am I just frugal like that!!?

The #1 ingredient in all those very expensive creams, lotions, and gels is...you guessed it, Caffeine! So if you drink caffeinated coffee why wouldn't you recycle the grinds and make your legs look awesome! Say good-bye to cellulite & hello to firm sexy legs!!!

I apply the grinds every three-five days. I stand in my garage with newspaper under me and just start rubbing the grinds in.

All you have to do is rub it in to the cellulite areas leave it on for a few minutes and rinse off. If you'd like you can add a teaspoon of olive oil to the mixture and wrap yourself in saran wrap....leave this on for 20 minutes. I usually don't have time for this but once a month. My skin feels so soft after this application. Oh, the grinds also remove any dead skin cells.

When I first started this treatment about 8 years ago I did it everyday for the first 2 weeks. Then I cut it back to about 2 maybe 3 times per week.
Bold
You will notice your thighs and buttocks getting smoother and firmer! Who doesn't want that?!

*try to remove as much of the grinds as possible before rinsing off in shower....it can clog the drain....but don't throw the leftovers away re purpose them even further by adding them to your garden or compost.

Happy Scrubbing Ladies!

NEVER heard of this before! What a frugal and inventive lady you are. I´ll have to try this, but I think it´s too late for me...

I haven't heard of this, but we do use coffee grounds in our vegtable garden. My brother works at Starbucks, so we've got top notch stuff!

Are you pulling our leg?
I've never heard of this.
But hey I'll try anything.
I usually buy decaf. I put my grounds in my compost bin. I pick up the free Starbuck grounds when I see them set out for people to pick up.
My husband already thinks I've lost my mind. This would really make me certifiable according to him.

Wow! I can't hardly believe that such a strange thing works! What made you think of using it to begin with..."Oh, I think I will rub some grinds on my legs." LOL

Wait until I tell my sister this tip. She will probably go in the bathroom with the grinds and not come out for a couple months.

Really cool!

Stopping by from SITS.
