Storm Brewing

The girls (and Nick) came home for dinner on Tuesday. Just as John was starting up the grill a storm starting brewing. We heard that it dumped bad hail a few towns over and had very strong winds.

We, your not so typical family, all ran out to watch the sky and see the storm roll in.

Tori, of course, grabbed her Nikon and started taking pictures. I love this lens!
At this point the wind was blowing pretty hard and the temperature dropped about 15 degrees.

I wonder what the neighbors thought of us when we acted like total goof balls in the front yard and started taking pictures of each other?!!

The storm hit as soon as we sat down to eat!

That is a neat camera lens. Very cool shots of the sky. I love storms. Sleeping and listening to the rain is the best!

Y'all are so funny! I love the pictures!

Who cares what the neighbors think?! (I'm sure you truly don't).

Lucky for you the storm waited 'til John was finished cooking :)

Great pictures and what a happy family!

Agree with you that blogging is a good way to record life. I have a family blog, too. It is a "family mailbox" containing all my loving letters to keep my parents informed what I am up to. It is fun, and sometimes silly, but always full of love.

Happy 4th of July! Have a great big holiday weekend!

oh what fun! and of course much it's funner (my grammar teacher would so kill me for daring to type that) inside the house during a storm when all of you get together, have hot coffee (or whatever hot) and just talk and talk and talk.

hey, thank you SO much for the drop by! i see you've already followed me, so it's my turn to be your follower now. adding you to my blogroll too, after this. have a great weekend sweetheart!
