Lemon Cheese Bars

Lemon Cheese Bars

1 pkg. white cake mix with pudding in mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup canola oil
1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Combine cake mix, 1 egg & oil in bowl; stir until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup crumb mix for later. Press remaining crumb mixture in a 9x13 inch ungreased pan. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Beat remaining egg, cheese, sugar & lemon juice in medium bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth and completely blended. Spread over baked crust. Sprinkle with the reserved crumb mixture.

Bake 15 minutes or until cream cheese layer is just set. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.

ENJOY!!!

Oh Yum!!

I am still trying to lose the 5 lbs I gained this summer! This blogging isn't helping. I am getting so many good recipes! I just made Lula's pumpkin crisp this week ( which is frickin awsome!) and now I know I have to try this...it looks too good!

I saw your husband's comment yesterday...too sweet!

I love lemon bars. I do wish they didn't give me horrible heartburn though. This is an easy recipe also.

Hi There....came over from SITS and I was scrolling through the blog and these babies sang to me. They knew how weak I would be with the cream cheese in them. I am so going to make these this weekend.

Love your blog, and your daughters are beautiful.
