Shawl Wrap

I finally finished my shawl wrap I started back in August! I had to put it down when we were getting Tori ready to move to college...then John got sick...then I just got too busy! Sewing my skirt motivated me to pick up the shawl and finish it. It is warm and cozy.

Now what am I going to make?! Oh, yeah I have this material with little roses, I can sew curtains for Meg's room! Also, a king size bed sheet I bought at Goodwill in Florida...it would look so cute re-purposed as curtains in Tori's room! I think this will be my project for the week. Of course I won't get to sew until Thursday...tomorrow is date night & Wednesday is bible study.

I think I got the crafty bug back!

Hey, if you make a shawl for Becky, I need one, too. I'll pay you even more if you make mine first! Winters are cold here in Ohio! I would look great in a shawl by Betty!

Ignore Becky's next comment, whatever she says.

Alright, alright, give Becky the shawl. She's right, I've already gotten a package from Australia, and am getting a swap gift from South Africa. So, I guess I'll be the one to give up the shawl :(

Okay, I want a gray one, but make Becky's first, so she won't be mad.

You are so sweet. I am going to pay you; how much do you want?

My email is hkelsey@cinci.rr.com .

Thanks so much!

And thanks for the sweet comment on my posts these past couple of days. I really appreciate it.

Good luck with your curtains. I can't wait to see them, so I hope you'll post a pic when you're finished.

beautiful shawl... I'm afraid my talents with yarn begin and end at tying it into a circle to play Cat's Cradle with my little girls :)

Thanks for stopping by and commenting at my blog last week - I am officially now the slowest person to return the commenting favors :)

You are so talented and what beautiful ladies you have as daughters! Thanks for stopping by on the BATW tour. I have seen you before (I usually follow you on morning posts!!) and glad I finally stopped by your place. We go through Little Rock (and the rest of Arkansas) when we go to Texas to see my husband's family. Come back again!

Hey I love the shawl! Can I make a request for one when you have the time? Winters are cold here in WI! I answered your question in the comment you left on my blog.

Wha?? 1 1/2 months? No. Way. I guess we'll see! You should've been at the concert--classic New Kids on the Block with some of their new stuff mixed in.

Love the wrap!! And totally love the skirt you sewed too! I HATE ripping out seams. Or zippers. Like to sew though--just haven't gotten much opportunity. I have a half finished pillow cover at the moment...I started it back in August. I should take my machine out and finish it! Thanks for the inspiration!
