My 100th Post & Giveaway!!!

*update* I will be using Random.org to get the winner. So you can enter 5 times....spread the comments out to have a better chance to win!

Holy Crow.....as Bella would say, It's my 100th post! I was going to do a 100 meme but never got around to writing 100 things....so I decided I would share our family dinner night because I love to share these nights! They mean the world to me! I will reveal the giveaway at the end of the post!

After work John & I drove up to Conway to the girls house to have our family dinner. We went to an Italian restaurant called, "Due Amiche". Our conversation was mostly about the election. Both girls got to vote for the first time in this historic election!

I had to take the usual family dinner photos so I could blog about the night.
This was the first one I took of Tori & Meg.

I didn't like the first picture Tori took of John & I so I asked her to take another one. She video taped us instead. Here is the video.

I took this photo of the girls and told Meg she looked constipated. That got the ball rolling on all the laughter....the loud laughter and all the silly photos!

So we took another with the girls posing their best constipated face!

So John & I "tried" to give our best face as well.....
we couldn't stop laughing.....and laughing.....Meg took the camera and said, Come on give me your best constipated look.....we tried again. Not knowing she was videoing this time. *If you are offended by cuss words don't watch*

We laughed so hard my make-up kept on running and John was crying!! We always have good times like this when we have family night!
After we hung out at the girls house and socialized with their friends for about an hour....they headed off to Hendrix college for an Election party and we headed to our friend Mo's for one as well. Both Obama & McCain gave awesome speeches last night. I would like to say, "Congrats to our 44th President Elect Barack Obama!!

100th POST GIVEAWAY!!!!!!

I am giving away a shawl wrap that I crocheted! It is in the colors of Cocoa & Wheat! It is super soft and warm. I love to wrap myself up in my shawl while I watch my favorite TV shows....or while I'm blogging! To enter all you have to do is leave a comment on this post!!! I will take comments until November 10th. I will announce the winner on the 11th. John was a good enough sport to model the shawl for you all. Doesn't he look cute in those shades...he is a little tipsy from the beer he drank at the Election party.

Good Luck!!!

You, your husband, and your girls always seem to have such fun whenever you're together. Isn't laughter and love what it's all about? As I've said before, I can only hope and pray that when my girls are older and on their own, we'll continue to be as close as we are now.

Please enter me in your giveaway! I would love to win that gorgeous shawl! I'm so cold-natured!! :)

Betty -- those pics are wonderful and I love the videos!! My son voted for the first time this election too. He had a little boo boo at the end and put his sample ballot with his notes on it in the ballot box along with his real ballot. Poor thing!

Congrats on your 100th post! Quite a milestone. Love the shawl and the model... y'all are just the cutest family anyways. Love that you had so much fun with the girls.
I have heard that Due Amiche has gone downhill *shrug* at least the day I went with Kyra since it is near her house- not the best food I've ever eaten... of course growing up in the NY/NJ area trying to find good Italian around here is not the easiest feat to begin with.
Glad you had such a wonderful time though. We do goofball things like that in public all the time too. Hooray for family night.

I almost missed a giveaway :(
Woo hoo, lovely!

I love the pictures of your family, love your video too. How do your girls and you keep your curls tame? My best friend refuses to wear her hair down says her curls are too frizzy. I would love to heave her hair and think it looks great down, but she says it gets too nuts.

I'm working alot of hours so haven't had time to read or blog :( I've got my days and nights mixed up and though I would check a few blogs out, before i try and catch some more sleep.

Happy 100! I think I am almost there but I am going to wait til 121 post to do a giveaway ;)

Good morning, you were ahead of me in roll call this morning and to my good fortune I have stumbled upon a giveaway. Beautiful shawl, it matches my new couch, how wonderfully warm that would be on a cold Midwest night.
